W Motors established itself in 2012 as the first automotive design house and manufacturer of high performance luxury sports cars based in the Middle East. Introducing its first prototype model which it proudly stated as the world’s most expensive, luxurious and exclusive: the $3.4 million 750-hp Lykan HyperSport.
Following a successful launch of The Lykan HyperSport, gathering international recognition and exposure, W Motors pursued a regional and international road show through private VIP exhibitions, international events and motor shows where the Lykan HyperSport was showcased in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Monaco, China and USA.
Fast forward 3 years later and W Motors has revealed their latest and most powerful car, the new Fenyr SuperSport in collaboration with global automotive supplier Magna International.
“The earth will shake violently, trees will be uprooted, mountains will fall, and all binds will snap – Fenyr will be free.” – Adapted from Prose Edda, 1220.
The Fenyr SuperSport is built on a tubular light-weight aluminum chassis, and crafted out of carbon-fiber. Power comes from a a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six made by Porsche specialist Ruf The forced-induction boxer engine drives a claimed 900 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is a 0-62 time quoted at under 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of around 250 miles per hour.
W Motors only plans on producing 25 examples, each priced at $1.85 million, which is an increase over the previous production run of the less powerful Lykan HyperSport, of which W Motors only made seven examples.
