Monsieur Bleu is the latest and greatest restaurant addition to the ever-evolving Palais de Tokyo in Paris, located in the exciting 16th Arrondissement which has immense heritage and is surrounded by one of the largest sites devoted to contemporary creativity in Europe.
With its enviable location in the Palais’ new wing, perched right on the quays of the Seine and blessed with an unrivalled view of the Eiffel Tower, Monsieur Bleu created by 3 childhood friends is a new versatile restaurant destination.
The restaurant offers a complete culinary and artistic experience and has quickly become a place for the late-weekend lounge scene. Evenings feature a lively crowd with weekend DJ and cocktails by Paris mixologist Alix Lacloche.
The cuisine is nothing short of excellent, chef Benjamin Masson narrates an epicurean French brasserie menu that begins with a selection of classic raw bar specialties in addition to a full caviar presentation. Further starters include seasonal salads, carpaccio and various tartares. Main course comes with culinary gusto of familiar French dishes ranging from a classic roast chicken and steak frites to more elaborate veal and grilled meat dishes.
The food is not overly priced, taking into consideration the location and the fabulous view.
